The pop-up outdoor ice-skating rink right underneath the skyscrapers of Lujiazui is back! Ice Live is right in front of Pearl Tower, and it'll stay open from 10am to 10pm (last entry 9pm) until February 29.
It might not be the biggest, nicest ice-skating rink in Shanghai, since that accolade goes to the fabulous, enormous All Star Skating Club inside the Mercedes-Benz Arena, but it’s big enough to accommodate up to 100 skaters at a time. And it lets you take a spin right under the Pearl Tower! Tickets are 99rmb per person for a 30-minute session and comes with free entry to Landmark Paradise inside the Pearl Tower, a hot chocolate, and either a hot dog or a chocolate muffin. Sweet! Ice skates and pads are available for hire for a deposit of 100rmb, but bring your own gloves or buy them for 10rmb on the spot.
